Philosophy of Care
LifeNet began in 1999 with one service and a drive to improve
the quality of life for youth in Wyoming. Since its inception,
LifeNet has grown into a social service organization providing
a variety of programs that focus on its vision of finding permanency
for children. LifeNet works toward this vision by utilizing
a family centered practice. At the heart of this practice
is the belief that all families have strengths and these strengths
are empowering. Core aspects of all LifeNet services include:
assessment, community, partnerships, healthy interaction with
others, skill development, development of support systems, and
facilitation of positive change. LifeNet’s services
are modified to meet the needs of each individual family.
LifeNet’s vision is to assist children attain permanency,
through building on the strengths of families and the community.
LifeNet will provide high quality, family focused services designed
to improve the quality of life for the youth of Wyoming. LifeNet
will enhance the community by providing services based on teamwork,
integrity, and professionalism.
